Super Mario Rpg World Map

I love this map but it reminds me of how odd the ring shape of the world. I don't know why but I can't help like they should have done something with that middle area. If anything put something there to explain why we have to go around. Because at the beginning of the game when you are just trying to rescue Princess Peach or defeat Smithy you think they would just use the middle area to get there. Anyway like I said earlier love this map
